Realistic Virtual Space in Seoul
As the time passes through our lives we tend to collect these memories in a visual form. these images are used when we reminisce through our memory in a visual form. All of these fragment of visuals come together and form archives. However, after some time all of these memories gets mixed up in various time frame and we would no longer cognitively recognize the time in respect to all the archive memories we have. The demarcation of time becomes meaningless in memory; we create new images that exist in virtual time. Among the various indexes in the archive images, I noted the memory of space.
The memory of a space is constantly changing with time. Even if we spend time together in the same space, the images of the places in our memories are combined and separated in mind over time, reforming and recreating our own new spaces and images. I present virtual spaces created from real physical places through works against the back drop of Seoul.
